What we do

DCMS unites DuPage County physicians as advocates for health policy that promotes the highest standard of care for patients and supports professionalism among physicians. This patient-focused, physician-driven advocacy helps assure better outcomes for all.

Membership

We'd love to have you

Members value belonging for different reasons. Some join to be involved with others who share common ideals and goals, some join for the activities or benefits, and some join because advancing the profession through association is part of being a professional.

What all of them realize, of course, is that strong advocacy and valuable benefits may only be maintained through shared commitment. Together we are stronger. As a member, you can count on the following:

Networking

Networking

Beyond educational opportunities and the option of engaging by serving on the DCMS Board or committees, you can interact with your colleagues through DCMS Physicians’ Lounge and White Coat Casual events. Baseball outings, cooking classes, wine tastings, even indoor skydiving are all activities that gave members a chance to enjoy time with colleagues and their families in fun, relaxed settings. You can also engage with the DCMS community through the Society’s Facebook page and web blog.

October 29 Wine-Tasting Event Sponsored By MEDIQUS
Everyone who attended the DCMS wine-tasting event at Grill 89 agreed it was a delightful experience. Our very own Edwin Zarling, MD, took on the role of sommelier with grace and expertise, ensuring that we all left with a little more knowledge tucked away alongside our fond memories. As Lanny Wilson, MD, President of the DuPage Medical Society Foundation, aptly said, "Yes, we did leave in a good mood last evening! The formula was just right for that outcome: good wine, good food, good education, and great company!" So, let's raise a glass to those shared moments of joy, and the connections we made. We look forward to seeing you at our future events, where we will continue to enhance our professional journeys while promoting the health of our community!

DCMS thanks MEDIQUS Asset Advisors, Inc., for sponsoring this event.
